10,000 USD worth of medical equipment have been donated to the Khammouane department of health, Gnommalath and Nakai districts to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
On 10th April, Nam Theun 2 represented by Dr Dousith Phommachanh Deputy Chief of Operator and Mr. Phouvong Thammavong Director of Risk Management Unit handed-over medical equipment in support to the regional COVID-19 prevention efforts. The equipment included: forehead thermometers, N95 face masks, sterilized face mask, Hand Gel, 90-degree Alcohol, hygienic gloves, PPE suits, antiviral spray machines and antiviral liquid.
