and Nam Theun 2 Power Company Limited
Nam Theun 2 Power Company Limited is committed to improving the quality of life of communities surrounding the power plant. In the past, the company has co-organized the Job Fair with the Khammouane Provincial Department of Labour and Social Welfare on three occasions. In 2025, this marks the first year that Nam Theun 2 Power Company Limited serves as the main sponsor, providing financial support for the organization of the event.
The objective of this Job Fair is to create employment opportunities for unemployed individuals, including insured workers under the social security system, across Khammouane Province. Participants will have access to career consultations and guidance, information on job vacancies, and the opportunity to apply for positions that match their knowledge, skills, and experience. The event also aims to strengthen cooperation between the Department of Labour and Social Welfare and labor leaders from both within and outside the province.
Activities during the event include:
- Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Provincial Department of Labour and Social Welfare and participating companies
- Information booths, résumé-writing workshops, and on-site job applications at 20 booths representing 20 companies
- Q&A sessions and prize giveaways hosted by participating companies
A total of 51 job positions will be available, with 691 vacancies in total, comprising 320 general labor positions and 371 skilled labor positions.
